This climb will raise money for poor and oppressed children and families living in the slums of Nepal.
Lack of knowledge and understanding of HIV and disease transmission has spread stigma and prejudice. Those affected by HIV risk losing their jobs or home.
For children, this often means being removed from school due either to their families’ economic situation or pressure from the school. Without a basic education, their future is extremely limited. Specifically, girls are at high risk of being sent to India to become sex workers to bring income into the family.
We offer a child sponsorship program to provide education and opportunities.
We want to see more help provided, more intervention, more training, and more women and girls set free and empowered with restored dignity.
Sponsors, walkers, marshals and volunteers all welcome.
