I am doing this walk to support a friend, it’s a great cause and an opportunity to get some exercise. We are so very privileged to live in NZ where we have so much freedom, a good education system and opportunities for us and our children to follow our dreams. I have travelled through quite a few third world countries, in particular Nepal and I am amazed how the people there have so little but are still so positive, happy and content. I just can’t imagine being in a situation where parents would sell their children into trafficking, it’s such a betrayal in trust and love. This small thing we do can help to make a difference.
