Climbers — Brisbane, 2 August 2014

My name is Alison Burrill and I’m excited to be a part of Freedom Climb. I’ve been involved with OM through Teenstreet, a Christian camp for teenagers, and also through a short term mission trip to the Philippines in January this year. I support OM because of their passion for people of all backgrounds and abilities throughout the world, and I know their work has everlasting impact on the lives of individual’s. I love to invest into people’s lives in lots of different ways to help them and that’s why I’m excited to be a part of Freedom Climb.

We enjoy being part of an event that advocates and raises funds for ministries that are addressing this need. We have been impacted by films and stories and are happy to play a small part in making a difference.

Hi my name is Daniel Kettle. The reason I'm doing the climb is because I like outdoor activity, but the main reason I'm doing it is because I think it is a good cause. This is a good cause and why I think it is, is because it makes me angry that slavey is still out there, as I believe it is immoral and degrading to woman who are forced into the sex trade. I have also heard stories of how it can have lasting effects on the woman and how inhuman the conditions are and that is why I'm doing the climb.

I'm climbing to help end the injustice that child trafficking creates.

I am participating in the climb with the youth leadership team from Deception Bay Baptist Church.

Because I want to do something about the horrible things that happen in the world.

I would love being apart of an event that sponsors such a wonderful cause. Human trafficking is something that I hear about regularly and I would love to make even a small difference to the lives of the less fortunate.

I want to be a part of a change! And Freedom Climb is a voice in the darkness - speaking out for those that cannot.

I am a teacher, working in Brisbane. Last year I went on a brief tour of some of the work Freedom Climb sponsors in India. So much can be done with so little money that every dollar raised is worth it. Please sponsor me.

I'm a full-time mum. There's nothing special about me. I love my family and I feel strongly about the values that Jesus gave us to live by. Human trafficking disgusts me in every conceivable way. This is one small way to join the global fight against this atrocity.

We are doing the climb with the others in the youth leadership team at our church, Deception Bay Baptist to help support this great cause.

My name is Kate and I am excited to be a part of Freedom Climb. I am married to Jonathan and we have 3 grown sons and a beautiful daughter-in-law. I love being a part of something that will impact the lives of those caught in slavery, exploitation and trafficking. I am climbing the Mount Gravatt Lookout climb on August 2nd, and I invite you to sponsor me. We are climbing to raise awareness and funds for women and children caught in slavery, trafficking, oppression and exploitation. Thank you for partnering with me to make a difference.

It's great to be able to make others aware that there are many people who are enslaved, trafficked and exploited.

Our family of 5 is going to climb as we are excited to support OM work to help bring freedom and restoration to enslaved and trafficked people.

My name is Vicki and I am a Learning Support Teacher at a Primary School in Boonah. In the last 12 months I have learnt a lot about Freedom Climb and its commitment to women and children caught in slavery and oppression. It is an awesome opportunity to be involved!!!
