Counseling for children rescued from sex-trafficking.
Many years of counseling are often needed; $1300 allows one child to receive treatment for one year.

Dara, a young teen girl, was rescued from a brothel and living in a local orphanage. Through a partnership program, she had been to OM’s counseling center once. Dara was sold by her parents, and knew they did not want her back, so she now longed to go back to her “family” at the brothel. She left the orphanage in the middle of the night and her friend Balin awoke to find her gone. Balin ran into the streets looking, and began praying to Jesus, whose name she had heard at her own OM counseling session. Immediately she turned a corner and there was Dara. Together they decided they would not return to the brothel. They walked back to the counseling center, where they shared their story and learned more about the love of Jesus. (Note: names have been changed.)
Child prostitution has made Cambodia an international destination for pedophiles. Even for kids who escape the brothels, the anguish of being brutally victimized often lingers and can require years of ongoing professional counseling. OM is helping heal these dark wounds by offering counseling at a center called Project Freedom. Here, survivors receive personal counseling from Christian mental health professionals, freeing them from difficult memories and emotions. To help give a child like Dara this valuable counseling, you may give below. One year’s counseling cost for one child is $1300, or you can sponsor one month for $108. Any gift to this ministry helps provide support for these broken ones. Thank you.
